Watchguard™ Compact Series DVRs are ideal for jobs where cost effectiveness is paramount, but image quality is a close second. The range aims to deliver affordable and versatile surveillance solutions, with support for IP, HDCVI (HD over coax) and analogue cameras.

Via traditional BNC video inputs, the CVR8EV2 the DVR can record a maximum HDCVI resolution of 720p (1280 x 720), and a maximum analogue resolution of 960H (960 x 576).

For installs with existing IP surveillance, the CVR8EV2 can record up to 10 x IP channels via external network switches (8 x IP inputs substitute 8 x HDCVI/analogue inputs). The DVR can record a maximum IP resolution of 5.0MP (2560 x 1920), with up to 40Mbps total incoming bandwidth. This makes it perfect for integrating existing IP cameras.

The CVR8EV2 features a single internal SATA port for up to 10TB of HDD storage and has single HDMI and VGA ports for video output.You are able to back up footage via USB device or over the network. This DVR also features comprehensive remote view capabilities (iOS, Android & Windows Phone), including quick configuration of remote view via QR code (excludes Windows Phone).

The Watchguard™ CVR8EV2 is a capable and affordable analogue upgrade solution for your existing standard definition surveillance system.
